Please join us for our monthly Career Breakfast Series. This event is designed for students & recent graduates to learn about tech policy and public interest work, careers, and its community. This month you will have the opportunity to have a great conversation with Maria Kirby<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maria\u00a0Kirby joined The Walt Disney Company as Vice President of Government Relations after serving in a variety of public and private sector roles. She helps lead strategy and engagement throughout the federal government on all of Disney\u2019s media and telecom policy interests, including enterprise spectrum needs for news delivery, park design and operations, and live performances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maria was most recently Senior Policy Counsel at Apple, where she represented the company on regulatory matters before the FCC, the FTC, and NTIA. During the Obama Administration, she\u00a0served as legal advisor to FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler and as Senior Counsel for the New York City Office of Federal Affairs under Mayor Michael Bloomberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
