Public Knowledge is proud to announce a new member has joined its Board of Directors<\/a>. Richard Whitt will join nine other board members to provide Public Knowledge with strategic counsel and leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n

Richard Whitt<\/a>, President of the GLIA Foundation, is also the head of the GliaNet Alliance, a coalition of technology companies building new trust-based online markets anchored by Net Fiduciaries and authentic Personal AI agents. He\u2019s spent more than three decades as a public policy attorney, technology strategist, business advisor, and entrepreneur. He spent more than 11 years with Google, including serving for four years as Corporate Director for Strategic Initiatives. More recently, Richard was Senior Vice President for Government Relations and Public Policy with Twilio Inc, and served as Senior Fellow in residence with the Mozilla Foundation. He\u2019s also the author of \u201cReweaving the Web<\/a>,\u201d which presents a robust theory of change and action plans for bringing the GliaNet ecosystem to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and his Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude from James Madison University. He is currently a senior fellow with the Georgetown Institute for Technology Law and Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
